City of Milwaukee Carefree Sundays

Carefree Sunday temporarily opens almost four miles of streets to people for the portion of a day by closing them to cars. The result is hundreds of people biking, walking, rolling, and connecting with the community.

Milwaukee is looking for "intersection superheros" to be ambassadors on behalf of the event and help out people commuting along the route get home. This is also a chance for us to where our sunrise shirts and even do some outreach too! There's two 3.5 hour shifts for you to volunteer for (they want 2 volunteers min):

For each shift covered, the city will donate $35 to Sunrise PDX! This money could be super helpful in funding what we've got coming up! Email if you’re interested in volunteering.
